Beverly Kubala founded Geriatric Care Managers of WNY in 2004 and serves as its President. She is a hands-on geriatric care manager with significant experience and expertise, having served as a counselor and advocate for families in navigating the confusing world of healthcare, social services and payment options for seniors.
Beverly has over 35 years experience as a Registered Professional Nurse in acute care, substance abuse, home care, as well as in long-term care. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, and a Certified Care Manager with nearly a decade of experience specifically as a Geriatric Care Manager.
Her experience includes managing homecare agencies and overseeing admissions to one of the region’s premier senior care communities, providing her valuable insight into available local services for seniors.
Beverly is active in many senior organizations and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Presbyterian Senior Care and as a board member of Network in Aging of WNY, having previously served as its president. She is also past President of the Board of Directors of Alcohol and Drug Dependency Services. She regularly works with the local chapters of the Alzheimer's Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as with caregiver support groups
In 2008 Network in Aging of WNY awarded Beverly the Dr. Evan Calkins Award for Meritorious Service to the field of aging in Western New York. She is a frequent and sought after speaker at Senior and professional forums regarding issues facing Seniors today.
